BCAP qualified Private Counsellor and Therapist serving Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin. I provide a warm, safe, and confidential environment where we can focus entirely on your mental health and well-being. Welcome to Louise Bowyer Therapy

Hello, I’m Louise, and I run Louise Bowyer Therapy, offering professional and compassionate counselling from my base in Baldock. I proudly support clients across the local area, including Baldock, Ashwell, Letchworth, and Hitchin.

I work as an integrative therapist, which means I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I carefully select and combine various therapeutic methods to create a unique and tailored path designed specifically for your emotional well-being and personal goals. This includes a person-centred form of therapy, which means our sessions are led by your needs and at your pace.

My Areas of Specialisation

I have developed specific expertise in offering support to two groups who often face intense, unique pressures:

  • The Legal Profession: I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space for those working in the legal field to unpack the high stress, demanding pace, and complex emotional challenges that come with their profession.
  • Menopause Support: I offer empathetic guidance and practical coping strategies for anyone navigating the significant emotional and physical turbulence associated with the menopausal transition.

To ensure therapy is as accessible as possible, I offer flexible formats and clear pricing:

  • In-Person Therapy: £65
    • We can meet in a comfortable, dedicated space here in Baldock.
  • Online Therapy: £60
